Bolivian born Vivian Hidalgo was one of our many talented Slow/Fast participants on the recent V&A workshop that Emma and I ran alongside the current Diaghilev exhibition. Recently finished her MA in graphics at London College of Communication with a rich array of digital textiles that expresses her cultural indentity and traditional textiles from her country. She creates a new visual language translating the beauty of an old skill using digital media and new technologies.
