Inspired by The Ballet Russe, the current exhibition at the V&A, the participants of the Fast/Slow workshop have done some fabulous digital designs. Today was full of rich dialogue about digital textiles and its relevance today, referencing and making comparisons between the avant garde artist of the Ballet Russe era and the digital pioneers of todays catwalk designers reflecting the exciting times we are in. Next two weeks Emma talks about the Slow textile process/reflection/conversations to add to these wonderful textile designs.
